These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mise mobile application ("App") operated by Mise ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Mise is a personal meal planning and grocery automation application. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
Mise uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API) to parse recipes, suggest meals, and aggregate ingredients. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of AI-generated recipe information, nutritional data, ingredient quantities, or cooking instructions.
You are responsible for verifying that recipes, scaled quantities, and ingredient lists are appropriate for your household, including any dietary restrictions or allergies. Mise is not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice.
Mise facilitates connections to third-party grocery providers including Instacart and Kroger. Grocery orders placed through these providers are subject to each provider's own terms of service, pricing, availability, and fulfillment policies. Mise is not responsible for the accuracy of product availability, pricing, substitutions, or delivery for any third-party grocery order.
Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You may manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
The App, including its design, code, branding, and AI-assisted features, is owned by Mise and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any App content or intellectual property.
You retain ownership of any recipe content you enter into the App. By submitting recipe content for AI processing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages arising from AI-generated content, grocery ordering errors, or data loss.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
